• Consumer Protection Law Summaries
• Identity Theft Risk Management and Resolution
• Identity Theft Risk and Issues for Businesses

Gerri is one of the first individuals in this area to receive this special certification. It qualifies her to counsel individuals about identity theft. She also has knowledge of consumer laws that have been developed to help consumers if they happen to become victims as well as the information they need to begin restoring their identity if it is compromised.

She is an employee benefits specialist working with companies of all sizes. She also works with small business owners, trucking companies and truckers, individuals and their families.

Prior to IDT SECURE, Gerri taught elementary school children and was a local president for her education association.

Company Profile

IDT Secure is a privately owned company. Our company markets products from two NYSE companies with over 30 years of experience, Pre Paid Legal Services and Kroll Background America. Kroll is a subdivision of Marsh McClellan. There are many different divisions within IDT Secure. Our largest division is the employee benefit section. Our associates work with companies to help with “Best Practices” in dealing with the Federal Laws on identity theft. We supply templates for all documents required by the FTC and do that at no direct cost to the business owner. We also help with the training of all employees at a mandatory meeting which is also required by the FTC. We educate all employees on the different types of identity theft. We offer a mitigation plan to all employees which acts as an early warning signal to the business. Within our employee benefit division we also offer a “NOW BENEFIT”. This benefit can help reduce absenteeism, improve moral, decrease health benefit costs, and increase the business owners’ bottom line. This is a voluntary payroll deduction benefit at less than a $1.00 a day.

Another division is our Commercial Drivers Legal Plan. This plan helps motorist who are on the road a lot whether it be sales personnel or truck drivers.

We also have a division for small business owners with 99 or less employees outside the NJ area.

Another division is also available for insurance brokers and agents.
