Prior to IDT SECURE, Gerri taught for thirty -two years and was a local president for her education association. Having such a strong background in education,Gerri was able to easily transition into becoming an "IDTheft Consultant" - she is considered an expert on the subject in the United States, especially in New Jersey. Since her crusade began in 2004, Gerri has been recognized in both Biz India and NJ Biz for her outstanding performance in the field. She is the vice president of membership for the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) Middlesex/Somerset Chapter. In addition to her NJAWBO membership, Gerri also serves the local community as a member of the GatewayChamber of Commerce, Mercer County Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Ocean Township Chamber of Commerce. She was also chosen to be listed in Cambrige's Who's Who of Professional Women and the National Association of Professional Women. She is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters and the Society for Human Resource Management and its affliate Jersey Shore Association for Human Resources.
